Bio

Rick Larson is the Executive Pastor at Sierra Bible Church in Sonora, Ca. He is ordained by the Evangelical Covenant Church of America.

Before entering fulltime ministry, Rick worked for the state of Rhode Island as a policy advisor on Social Services to the State Legislature and to the Governor. He holds a Masters Degree in Social Work.

Rick has pastored two Covenant Churhes, Chapel in the Pines in Arnold Ca. and Hope Community Church in Houston Tx., each for ten years. While in Houston, Rick was Director of Ministry for the Mid-South region of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Rick, and his wife, Linda, have been happily married 36 out of 39 years. Rick said, "The first three years of our marraige I was in a clinical depression. It was out of that darkness I truly turned my life over to Christ. Not only was my life transformed, but my marraige was transformed as well. It was then I fully realized that marriage without Jesus is, at best, peaceful co-existence and at worst, disaster and divorce.

He and Linda have two grown children, a son and a daughter, both living in Texas. They are the proud grandparents of four nearly perfect grandchildren. They currently reside in Soulsbyville, Ca.
